This one was kind of unplanned. I started taking the ferry from Mukilteo to Whidbey Island. The original general idea was to continue to the north end of the island, emerge on the mainland near Anacortes then maybe do a bit of a loop into the mountains before heading south to home.

μAdventure: Another Puget Sound Ride
Today’s feature was the Bainbridge Ferry with a slightly shortened loop ending with a return on the ferry from Bremerton.
μAdventure: First Ride
I like the bike. Perhaps even more than I thought I would. I had thought of it as a “bigger version” of the CB500x that I’m very familiar with but it’s much more.

μAdventure: Denver to LA
Managed a nice stopover at Bryce, as well as a beautiful drive through Glenwood Canyon, the Grand Staircase, and Zion. I want to go back, and take about two weeks to do it.
μAdventure: Operation Eclipse!
Had a great early morning at the beach watching and photographing today’s lunar eclipse. I stayed through to the end, when the still partially-eclipsed moon set behind the Santa Monica mountains.
μAdventure: Carizzo Plain 2
The mountains were yellow, orange and lavender. As I hiked up, I went through all those colors – mostly yellow at my elevation, but some traces of the others as well.
