A quick and long-overdue family visit happened to coincide with the first real week of spring. Staying where I did near the old Tel-Aviv port, I had few opportunities for real adventure, but lots of opportunities for photos. Here are some. Enjoy. As always, more on Instagram.
μAdventure: Moving to Seattle
Just a few words to let the world know I’m still alive and in Seattle.
μAdventure: New York
The rest of the trip has been other family stuff. I saw some cousins and friends. I relaxed and thought about things. And I got a phone call.
μAdventure: AWS re:Invent
Who would have thought I’d have two updates in one year from Vegas? I hate Vegas. But my business as I’ve known it is ending. I’m wrapping things up officially at the end of this year and it’s time to hunt seriously. The whole tech world is moving to “the cloud” and why shouldn’t I?…
μAdventure: Vegas reunion!

μAdventure: Denver to LA
Managed a nice stopover at Bryce, as well as a beautiful drive through Glenwood Canyon, the Grand Staircase, and Zion. I want to go back, and take about two weeks to do it.
μAdventure: Operation Eclipse!
Had a great early morning at the beach watching and photographing today’s lunar eclipse. I stayed through to the end, when the still partially-eclipsed moon set behind the Santa Monica mountains.
A new year
Only two resolutions for 2018: Always carry a book and always carry a camera. Both those served me well when I started this blog. I sort of let them go in the past year. A “photo a day” requirement should keep me engaged.
Been offline, working on my tan
Tan lines are just not quite there yet, but should be soon.
