Day 7 was rain, rain and more rain.
Canadian Rockies Day 4: Revelstoke – Banff
As soon as I hit the summit, I ran into a downpour and temps dropped quickly. I was glad for it and didn’t mind the brief rain.
Canadian Rockies Day 3: Nelson – Revelstoke
One of the nicest bits of road I’ve been on so far.
Canadian Rockies Day 2: Osoyoos – Nelson
The weather continued to be “unsettled” but wasn’t too bad. I’ve definitely been through worse recently.
Canadian Rockies Day 1: Seattle – Osoyoos
I decided somewhat spontaneously to take a week’s trip up to the Candian Rockies.
The Sunshine Coast in Rain, Then Home
All in all a miserable trip, but probably not a bad choice for a shakedown cruise, both for the bike and myself. Logged close to 700 miles, which is less than I had planned for, but not terrible given my condition and lack of recent distance riding.
Qualicum Beach to Powell River, Motorcycle and Ferry
I started in Qualicum Beach, and after 2 hours of riding, a ferry and very little bad weather, I found myself at the end of the road.
Victoria to Port Alberni and a retreat
Some trips end up being more riding, and others more “doing things along the way and riding in between.” This is turning to the latter. That’s life.
Seattle to Victoria by Motorcycle and Ferry, In the Rain
The weather was rainy from the start. After 2 ferries, and about 2 hours of riding in inclement weather, I arrived in Victoria.
I see an adventure coming…
Planning a motorcycle adventure around Vancouver Island, including Victoria, Tofino, then the Sunshine Coast and Vancouver on the way back.
